Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Xrevise handles information when you use its website, Chrome extension, and proofreading service.
Information we handle
- X account information: your X user ID and username when you choose Continue with X. Xrevise never receives your X password.
- Draft and referenced post text: the draft you submit and, for replies, up to 4,000 characters from the referenced X post.
- Account and usage records: batch and generation identifiers, lifetime card generation count, plan, subscription status, AI input and output token counts, generated suggestions, and the suggestion card you select.
- Payment information: Dodo Payments processes billing as merchant of record. Xrevise stores Dodo customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status, but does not receive or store your full card details.
- Technical information: Cloudflare may process network and security data, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Xrevise does not use IP addresses to count your free requests.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, provide AI rewrites, enforce the free tier, manage Plus access, support users, prevent abuse, and maintain service security.
Service providers
Xrevise uses X for OAuth authentication, Cloudflare for hosting and database services, OpenRouter and its selected model provider for AI processing, and Dodo Payments for subscription billing. Draft and referenced post text is shared with OpenRouter and the selected model provider only when you request suggestions. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Drafts and retention
Xrevise stores submitted drafts, referenced-post context, all generated card outputs, AI input and output token counts, and the selected card header in its Cloudflare D1 database for 30 days. These records are then deleted automatically. OpenRouter and the selected model provider may separately handle submitted text under their own retention policies. Account and billing records are retained while needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse.
Sessions
After X verifies your identity, Xrevise creates a signed session that may remain valid for up to 90 days. You can remove the extension or clear its stored data to remove that local session.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your Xrevise account data by emailing meshakzac@gmail.com. Some records may be retained where required for tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or other legal duties.
Sharing and sales
Xrevise does not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the processors described above, when you direct us to do so, or when required by law.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Xrevise uses information received through Chrome only to provide and secure its proofreading service, does not use it for advertising or credit decisions, and does not permit human review except with your consent, for security, or when required by law.
Security and children
We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Xrevise is not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
